Default 307cc Air con help!! Stuck on

Hi guys, i have a 2005 307cc and the air con is stuck on full blast although is on the weakest setting (doesnt change when turn up) although the temperature still works so can be hot and cold. anyone got any idea what the problem is this is really annoying me! thanks

yes although i forgot to mention in winter sometimes the aircon/ heating wouldnt come on at all

sounds to me like the resistor pack is knackered.

By air con.... I take it you mean the fans being stuck on?

Faulty switch/connection perhaps... had to fix them on her Clio, and that turned out to be a bad earth and required the connector rewiring and all fine ever since.

If its stuck on full - as John says, that is the classic sign of the resistor pack having failed. When they fail the fan does generally go onto full bore.
