Hi!
Just thought I would post this as it may help someone in future! My wife's 2006 307SW has had a knock for a while now. I had done the bottom ball joint on one side, and drop links, and assumed it was the ball joint the other side. I got around to looking at it yesterday and at first it looked like BAD news. I had it on ramps so I could get under and the missus was turning the steering side to side. The knock appeared to be coming from the steering rack. BUT I noticed that there are two nuts that come through the bottom of the front cross member that must hold the steering rack in place. One of these had just come a little loose and so there was a little play in it. This was causing the knock. Took it out, thread locked it, tightened it back in TIGHT, knocking gone. One happy me! ![]() Phil |

Check your steering arms,
