Default 307 keys

I recently lost my key for my 307 (52 plate) 2 button fob. I managed to get a spare cut so I could use the car (no button fob). I got a locksmith to cancel my old key so if some one found it didn't work.

I have just found my old car key, it will start the car but the remote to lock and unlock it no longer works, how to I go about reprogramming my old key to the car so it works again to?

Thanks in advance.

How did he cancel the key? I would imagine someone with Planet could recode the key and match it to the car.

Sorry to be so vague, I asked him if it was possible to cancel the key so if some went to start the car it would not start, which he has done, the old key will not start the car.

How is the best way to go about recoding the keys?

Thanks

you wanna make sure that when he says "cancelling the key" he doesnt actually mean that he's just thrown away or destroyed the transponder chip!

However you say that your old key doesnt start the car but also does start the car so i'm a bit lost!!

The key does not start the car it was my poor English, sorry about that. I basically lost my old key, got a new manual one cut, and have now found my old remote key and want both keys re-coded to the car.

I have been told someone with planet will be able to do this? So i am looking to hear if there is anyone local that can help?
