Default 307 blowing fuse 8

Hi,
I have a 2006 307 which is continually blowing fuse 8 (yellow 20 amp). It started about 6 weeks ago, blowing it once a week or so. It progressed to blowing it every couple of days. It now blows every time I attempt to start it when the engine is warm, although will always start from cold. The fuse blows simply by attempting to turn the ignition on. When I change the fuse, it immediately blows again when turning the ignition. After several hours when the engine has cooled, it generally starts with a new fuse in place.
I wouldn't post on here unless I was desperate, but I have had the car at 2 mechanics, 2 auto electricians, and at my local Peugeot dealership (where it spent a week being tested). No one has been able to locate the cause, so I am stuck with this car which breaks down every day now and nobody seems to be able to repair it as the cause cannot be located. The dealer suggested it could be the com 2k unit, but wasn't sure and was reluctant to replace as they weren't 100% sure. I'm getting a liitle frustrated as i'm basically without a car. I have seen a couple of other forums with the exact same problem, but the forum didn't go as far as letting us the know the end result. Does anyone have any thoughts or encountered this problem before? Thanks

I remember reading something similar once

I cant remember the exact cause, think the starter was pulling too much current cos it was faulty, and resistance is higher at higher temperatures?

Like i said i cant remember exactly but it was a dodgy starter!

edit: found the old thread, they changed starter!

307 Blowing fuses, wont start when warm!! Help

Ok, there is info on this. There is an info flash stating to change the 20A fuse to a 25A fuse.
DO NOT FIT A STARTER!

Thankyou all for your replies, its currently at the Peugeot dealership again. I will let them know your thoughts re the fuse change. They want to replace the com 2k unit, a part which costs around $1400 AUD so I'm a little reluctant!
