Exclamation 307 1.6 sw estate p2408 fault help

new to forum can anyone help bought a 2006 307 1.6 sw astate facelift model.was all ok untill a few days ago came up with warrning light and said fuel door not proply locked.i left it for a day has never came back on but now says risk of particulte filtter block.so took to local dealer and got it put on digi test and printout said p2408 fuel addative system faulty.was told to replace fuel sensor on cap wich i did with new one.took it back again to dealer another 35 pound to get it checked and still says fuel cap sensor fault even know replaced with new one can anyone help please has what could still be fault.checked sensor with meter from were it plugs in under car with it unpluged and from sensor it says 13.9 ohms cap on and 149 ohms cap off was told this is right, so then checked wire to were sensor plugs into that goes under tank with meter and it says 780 ohms does any one know if this right or is something faulty cheers

When they replaced fuel cap sensor did they open and close fuel cap to reset sensor as if you are putting fuel in?
