Post 307 1.6 sw astate facelift model no addative ecu

can anyone help bought a 2006 307 1.6 sw astate facelift model posted a few faults last week one was p2408 which i found out relates to fuel cap sensor was sick of paying 30 and 40 quid to get it read so went and bought pp2000.got it all set up and done a globel test which says that the addative ecu is not there or carnt be read.can anyone tell me were the addative ecu is located in the model checked under drivers seat and back of fuse box in car but not there would be greatfull if anyone knows were to look.

Built into the engine ecu i would think , read the engine ecu and check parameters.

thanks for reply.done some more checking but just getting use to pp2000 it says i have a lin type addative ecu pump if this any help.could this be the fault.when readinf bsi ecu it says fuel cap sensor open circut.and when i start car first thing it bleeps and flasess up fuel cap door not proply locked replaced sensor but still same followed by risk of filtter blocking any idea thanks

Check that both magnets are still there in the fuel cap sensor if they are sounds like your need a new fuel cap sensor.

Could be the wiring, be a coincidence if the replaced sensor was faulty

replace the sensor common as anything do em all the time, as faults with fuel cap sensor can use more additive or even empty it

done a test with pp2000 global test it says bsi fault code c402 signal fault from fuel cap sensor open circuit.ecu fault code p2408 permenant fault addative fuel tank cap presance sensor.after that i looked trough the pp2000 menus and came across a menu were i could knock off the addative lin pump/ ecu and confirgured it reset ecu fault code dissconected pp2000 and started car took for a drive and no faults on dash could this mean fault is the addative pump under car ?
