Hello
I have a 1999 T reg 306 meridian. When I got it I couldn't get used to how heavy the clutch was. I still can't. I was used to the Vauxhal Astra I learned to drive in as it was light and easy to find the biting point quickly. However, I can't seem to get a smooth pull away from idle to moving. It seems quite jumpy and i've even been driving then pulling over to practice. Has anybody got any advice? I am I doing something wrong? *edit - 3 days and no answer. Thanks a lot people.* Last edited by fenderbass86; 02-18-2007 at 04:09 PM. |

Hi I know this is a late reply . I`ve just registered on this site in the hope of solving a problem with my son`s Meridian , while viewing all the posts I noticed yours and that you had no reply`s . The clutch on my son`s car was also very stiff/heavy I have just changed the clutch cable today {30 mins} and it is now fine. Hope this helps if you have still not sorted it.
