207cc NOISEY TOP END
2007 Peugeot, Only 36K, Full service history, with EP6 Engine. There is a horrendous noise (Tapping/Rattling/Slapping) coming from the "Top end", it seems to be from the left hand side (Timing Chain Side!), when you raise the throttle to about 2,000Rpm the noise dies down, BUT, is still there! I have run PP and it shows:ENGINE ECU, intermittent fault variable valve lift position sensor track 2 signal coherance. I was wodering if anyone can shed any light on this particular fault.
