207 reverse gear

Hi
I have owned a 207 vti 1.4 for over two years and i have suffered problems with my reverse gear. when you go to engage reverse you pull the lever to the right of the "gate" but the lever will not go back but feels solid.
My agent and Peugeot say there is no problem.
It is very frustrating. Any ideas would be welcome.

Not quite sure I understand what you mean...

Can you not get it into reverse? or that it just feels difficult to?
