Here's food for thought...
Peugeot 207 Most Reliable 3-7 Year Old European Car | Motoring News | Honest John Now, the 207 is, admittedly, my least favourite model in the current range. Nevertheless, all the moaning, whinging and wailing we hear about the reliability of the model is now proven tosh, and demonstrates wonderfully how a few people who moan very loudly, and often repeatedly, create an image of a vehicle that is completely unrepresentitive of the truth. Yes, individual examples have problems, but this has proven that a used 207 is less likely to suffer problems than any other car, including Dad's Lexus, or gran's Honda. Interesting as well that the 107 and 206cc make it in the top 10. Indeed, Peugeot are the only manufacturer with 3 models in the top 10, which at a stroke nails dead the myth about the 'legendary' reliability that clever marketing and slick dealers have created about some brands. Well done Peugeot.

To be fair I think a lot of the negative publicity for 207's is bought about due to the issues with the 307 and public assumtion that the 207 would be the same.
I like the look of the 207 (sportier ones), not enough power in the engine for me & unfortunately was left looking a little dated with the new Fords but at least facts like the above do leave food for thought. |

its as chopper says...most people that visit forums have problems and complain and bitch about it. not many people will pay a visit to a forum and compliment and say how good something is...
its the same for most reviews for place...full of people bitching and complaining. but if you look at those say 10 bad reviews and think that 1000's of people must go there or get that. ![]() i like the car reliability database on that link. tells you what % is the cause of faults and average £ for fixing

I've been saying for years that Pugs don't get reliable till AFTER the warranty is finished!
