Default 206 HDI loosing water, info needed please

Hello all, My wifes 206 hdi today as started loosing water on- but it seems only when i rev it up..
i noticed when lifting the hood a slight spray of steam at the back near the turbo... ive used mirrors but just cant see where it's coming from. when crawling underneath and looking up the back i can see the water dripping onto the turbo air inlet pipe but only after we rev her up a bit.... using the mirror from the top i can just see the water to turbo pipe but no drips.. Can the turbo itself leak? ....
All i can put in down to is either the turbo or a crack in the head ?
has anyone had this issue before that could give me some info please

thanks

After looking again from underneath the turbo is below the leak so it cant be her turbo.... would a crack in the head not leak all the time?

I am not sure about your model but the engine cover has rubber gromits they wear away and i think there is a bleed tap towards the back and this cover vibrates on the bleed tap now i am not 100% on this but if you take cover off you might see wear its coming from.

Which engine is it and year?

its a 2.0 sw hdi dw10dt.

Ok now i suspect the leak aint behind above the turbo thats just where its dripping the water seems to be running along the plastic air pipe and dripping at the lowest point...im now looking around the coolant houseing but it does seem dry there....

If it is the coolant tank try and look at it under pressure running engine they seem to expand i have read before no signs of a leak until under pressure.

You can use a dye in the water or food colour i think it the chicken tikka colour like a red might show where its coming from .
