206 GTI plasma dials

hi i have just fitter plasma dials in my 206 GTI and the speedo dial is a bit jumpy when you go fast and when you slow down it was moveing really smoothly befor i changed the dial and now it does not go up or down the speedo smoothly any ideas ??

If it's cable drive then you have probably bent the cable, or the clocks are duff.
