206 (54plate) mileage always lit up

Hi Guys,

Just got this car and have noticed that even without the ignition key in and the car locked, the mileage is always lit up, is this correct?

Have you an after market radio fitted?

What year is 54 plate for those of us who haven't a clue what it means as we're not in the uk.

54 = 1st Sep 2004 to 1st Mar 2005

If the plate is 51 or greater, subtract 50 from the plate, and add that to 2000 to get year.
If its less than 50, simply add it to 2000 to get the year.
Remembering that the greater than 50s are Sept-Mar, and the less than 50s Mar-Sep
