206 1.9 diesal engine problem

hi there newbie
can anybody help wiv this problem
i got a 206 diesel which has a problem on tickover the engine runs ok on tickover until you start to rev the car then it starts to judder,if you run engine to 2000 revs it runs smooth but engine then starts to smoke from exhaust this is the first diesel car ive had so i dont no alot about the problem all i can tell you before i bought the car it had a new head gasket i have bought this car with this fault to try and repair so if anybody can help me try and sort it it wont have been a waste of money thanks ronnie:
