hello everyone. I have a 206 1.4 petrol (56 plate) . Drove home one night, parked up went in. Next morning went to start car and would not fire. Tried again but noticed engine warning light was on. Called AA who said it could be fuel cut off, but there isnt one. Then suggested might be a crankshaft sensor. My hubby thought fuel cut off too. We looked through internet and see lots probs but none said that the engine light was on from when the ignition was turned on. It doesnt go off so hubby thinks more serious than a crankshaft sensor. I just had op and been made redundant so cant afford to take to Peugeot and let them try everything. I am hoping that someone on here might be able to shed some light onto the problem ... pretty please lol.
thanks

elma is correct , plus if it was the crankshaft sensor it would still turn over , check my map below to see if anyone near you to get a proper diagnostics done.

yes the remote locks and opens the doors and all other electrics work. The aa man did a reset by disconnecting the battery but that did not do anything. The crankshaft sensor is not very expensive do you think i should just change that anyway?
i noticed on the list there is a guy in peterborough with planet .... how do i contact him as he is about 35 miles from home? thank you for all the help
