Default 206 1.4 HDI wont start

hi all i hope you can help me with this problem.

i have a 206 1.4 HDI the problem started about a month ago when accelerating the engine would miss/cut out for a split second.

no it will not start all filters have just been changed 1000 miles ago.

on the dignostics it cam up with a cam shaft sensor problem but i have been told this could ither be a ECU or a sensor problem.

Sorry you won`t know until you change it , but i would "guess" its either the sensor or a broken wire.
