Hello All.
I have a 2001, 406hdi. The problem is that my windscreen washers have stopped working. They worked great one day, next day wouldn`t work!! When I pull the stalk, no water is sprayed onto the winscreen, and after a short delay the wipers start. I have checked the pump, which works, but there is no power getting to the pump when the stalk is pulled. I have checked all the fuses in the engine bay and below the steering wheel, and they all seem okay, but I`m not sure if the washer pump fuse is in the engine bay or inside car fuse box, therfore- My first question is-- Where is the fuse that controls the pump?? If this fuse is okay, is there a fuse anywhere else in the circuit?? If all fuses are okay, how can you check if the stalk pull switch is okay? Any other help/advise would be great. Thanks. |
