any one nowe howe to tel by looking at engine is it 8 0r 16 valve 1.6 petrol engine on 2003 plate thanks

has it not got any info on the top rocker box?
if that doesnt help you can search on parkers for your car and it will give you all the info.

Pug only made 16 valve 1.6 petrol engines in 2003 and your engine code of NFU is a TU5 engine.
