1.6 hdi help please

HI everybody i have a 1.6 hdi with the following faultcodes P0121 and P0488 the car has had a new egr and a pcm reflash.The car starts a bit lumpy when cold be soon clears heater plugs are ok the car will run ok then the light will come back on.thanks for any help

You have egr valve problems. I recommend taking it off and checking it for sticking operatio. there is most likely something impeding it operation eg, carbon, soot deposit.

If yours is the 110bhp i'd be thinking your air doser is the problem...there is a egr bypass butterfly valve thats opens and the intercooler butterfly valve closes when the dpf regenerates.
Maybe fit a secondhand one to confirm.

So you have already swapped out a full air doser...??
Did you "learn" in the new egr when you got it fitted...??
Have you checked wiring on the air doser butterfly valves and egr valve..??

Hi yes swopped a dozer didnt know it was called that.all wiring looks good how do i learn the egr thanks
