Hi folks, this will get a few laughing no doubt.
so ive been back to dealer to do some repairs, before more faults occur (how wrong was i), i spent £225 getting this done: -new undertray that protects the rad and cooling pipes. -new mount and bolts for air con compressor -new pipes, hoses and clips for intercooler they were picked up by my last health check. anyways they rang me to say because the undertray was missing, it looks like the coolant feed to the rad is chaffed and will need replacing asap... they quoted around £110, this will replace the hose, clips and coolant. probs do it cheaper myself like. but heres the funny bit. i was out in the car effing around with the speedo again....oh i wish i wish i wish i didnt. i goes to plug it back in, turned the key and guess what....feck all happened!!! no lights nothing!!! so i instantly thought "Feck my life", checked the fuses all good. so i checked the power to the connector that goes into the speedo...all good. so its the speedo i narrowed it down to, turns out part of the immo is in the speedo so i cant even start the engine. i ring ford and say how much for part "4M5T-10849-HR" the parts guy goes, "we dont make them any more, its been replaced by part 4U7T-10849-HS" i was like, will that fit and he goes "yes it will need to be coded" i was like no bother how much and he laughed...i was like FFS, whats he laughing at...i soon find out.. £550!!! just for the part, without tax and labour of fitting(coding). FFS!!! its everytime i get money, i feck around with something and it breaks and i loose that money....FML!!! one good thing though, atleast the car didnt break down on its own decision...it was me fecking around with it and to be honest ive been told i dont things by half so now im stuck to being a passenger on a bus or metro...i bloody drive the things...hate using them i even went as low as using a taxi to get around one day ![]()

right a little update, dropped the car in friday and they had to order the part direct from ford, it wont be here till tues/wed at the earliest.
but in the mean time i managed to get a car from enterprise, cheaper than renting from ford. for friday night till wednesday 1700hrs, £110. its a Fiat punto evo 2010...pretty nifty, its all voice activated and windows oriented. obviously being 22 im not allowed to drive it, so i hired my father as a taxi driver

Well I had it off before to change the blue to white, well anyways I zeroed the speedo but didn't callibrate it, so the needle would say your doing 40mph when your really doing 30mph etc. On attempting to calibrate I got this problem lol tell you what pug speedos are far easier to fix then ford's ill stick an immo inside so when john fucks with it lol

well i got a phone call today whilst driving the bus...i obviously pulled over and got out the cab (for those smart asses out there).
anyways the guy was saying because its the new style intrument cluster, it wont read/accept my old key so they threw in a brand new style ford key for free...no idea what they look like and neither do i know what the cluster looks like. anyways the fella goes on to ask if i know how much it will all cost, with tax/fitting etc etc...i say well the part was around £550 before the addons and he goes yeah in the ball park...£750! FML this is turning out to be one very expensive lesson on fiddling with my car. but they say they are going to test it extensively tomorrow morning, as its their first time dealing with this and i pick it up after 12 (when i finish work) so i will have my beloved focus and a fiat punto evo... well i do have to say the punto is nice, but the stop start is starting to piss me off...
