What phase please- LEXUS LIGHTS Help

Hi ALL

I have a V reg Pug 306 1.6 with (I think) Standard rear wiring,purple plug incased in a brown shell shown here-

Today I purchased a set of lexus light and as you have prob already guessed they dont fit connection wise,this is the connection on back of lexus light -

I thought they would be just plug and play,Clearly not lol,

How can I tell what phase my 306 so i know what to look for next time?
And
can i get adaptor for the lights connection??
