307 SE Hatch Reversing Sensors

I would like to instal a set of reversing sensors on the back bumper of my 307 hatch but there is no obvious positioning line for them. Has anybody done this?

There are some sites on the internet that are using a new type sensor strip which fits inside the rear bumper. Looks a good a idea as the sensors are hidden out of view and wont need cleaning
