Citreon Xsara 1.9 problem

Bought a 1999 Xsara 1.9D last night and the oil light flashes for a few mins before going off (after the car is started). I'm sure it's something to do with the oil sensor as the oil level is fine in it.

i only plan on keeping the car for 2 months to help with some house work, I'm concerned as I don't want it breakdown and have the expense of fixing it and secondly as i plan on selling it, want it fixing sooner rather than later.

I would invest in a new sensor
