Default What ports are needed for PP2000?

Hi all, just wondering what ports are needed on my laptop for the Lexia 3 kit?

I have an old dell with every port under the sun on it but prefer to use my acer laptop but it only has USB. My acer runs 7 so I would have to run XP virtually as well.

Thanks

All diagnostic`s including pp2000 run off a usb , if you`re near the north coast call in and i`ll show you it working.

Unfortunately I'm not up at the north coast too often (been over a year since last there). How hard is it to get up and running?
