Hi - YES - what do you want to know?!?!

Scratches are usually of three types...

Swirls - which look a bit like cob-webs on the paint in bright sunlight.

RDS- random deep scratches as they are called - which are in the paint and you can often feel them with your nail...

Bad scratches - down through the pain to the primer or metal/plastic base.

Swirls are easy enough to either mask, by using a product the fills them, like Autoglym Super Resin polish, or, machine polish out with a product that actually removes them by the removal of a small amount of paint.

RDS - these are often again polishable with a machine polish, but often you have to resort to a wet sand - which is exactly what it says. You then have to refine the paint finish with reducing abrasives to bring the finish up to a standard. Wet sanding is usually done with a machine polisher these days - usinga 3" spot pad.

Bad scratches - these usually require paint to repair as polishing will do nothing other than make it look worse as you thin the pain around it.

I would be aware that detailing is a very adictive "hobby" and you will end up spending loads on different products. End results are good though!

So what category would scratches made for vindication by keys fall under?

I bought mine with a scratch on the bonnet and another one from the front to the end on the left side.
