Firms like Securon make aftermarket belts in various colours. However, you're gonna be stuck cos you'll almost certainly have pretentsioners. Perhaps a lucky thing, as red belts were last in vogue on the MG Maestro. Nice.

You can check, but I guess probably not as your original belts almost certainly have pretensioners, and the aftermarket universal ones (intended for fitment into older cars, or cars that never originally had belts) don't.

Why not remove them from the car, fully extend them and bleach to white, then dye them red yourself?
Hey its an idea!

Why would you want to make your car look like a Maestro?

To quote you from another thread..
"We should all live and let live - if he likes his 406 that way, then that's kewl. It's his car, not mine or yours, and he should have it how he wants it. Each to his own, and all that."

Touche! Except I was asking the question, rather than making a statement.

The MG was quite a nice car. I fitted it out with new, but original spec. suspension, and it could hold the road well. At the time, a mate at work had a 1600 Mk2 Escort, with god-knows-how-much spent on the motor. I could easily beat him from Camberly to Basingstoke, down the A30. He refused to believe my Metro had the bog-standard 1275 engine. OK, it wasn't the standard Metro engine, but it wasn't after-market tuned or anything. The thing was, his was obviously faster, but he did nothing to the running gear, and couldn't take corners. I could keep the speed up round the bends and leave him standing. Then by the time time he caught up with me again, it was another roundabout or bend! I wasn't dumb enough to suggest a straighter road...
