Default Oil in water tnk anyone help?

Can anyone help me,
my car keeps cutting out,PEUGEOT 206 LX chugging etc .. There is also oil in the water tank its like a chocolate milkshake.. I have had a mechanic look at iy who said it was the head gasket which he has replaced and drained the water tank that was full of oil. But still the same thing , the car will drive but starts chugging away and when i came to a t juntion at traffic lights it almost killed me as it cut out in the middle of the road..? Can anyone help me resolve this please?

Unfortunately sounds like you may still have a HG failure , did the mechanic replace the head bolts when he changed the gasket?

I'd take it straight back and tell them that they have not fixed the problem that you brought it in with especially if you have the loss of power and sludge in the header tank.

Did he have the head tested for trueness?

TBH, I'd just trade it for a new car.
