Hi
Ive had a 207 HDI S 57 plate for a fw weeks and today the handle came away in my sons hand. I phoned the dealer and booked it in to be repaired, but judging by the phone call they are not going to honour the repair under the manufacters warranty, even though it is clearly a fault, my son is 8, so it was pulled with normal force. has this happened to anyone else and is it covered under the standard 3yr manufacturers warranty? Any help or advice would be great

I would think a door handle falling off on a 57 plate and you only having it a few weeks the dealer should be falling over backwards to help you.
From the Trade Description Act- Fitness for purpose, strength, performance, behaviour or accuracy, e.g. unbreakable, mechanically sound Let us know how you get on. |

Thanks
Its booked in for Monday. But i didnt buy it from the main Peugeot dealer in birmingham, I brought it from Bristol Street Motors in Nottingham. I hoping that the main Peugeot dealer will sort it out without too much trouble, because I hate motorway driving and dont think i could survive a 45min drive, to return the car to Bristol Street, then have to debate with them over why they should sort the problem out, but if it comes to that i will try Bristols Streets birmingham branch first. |
