Default subs

well everybody how are things!!

have a 307, 2004, and just after getting two bazooka tube subwoofers and was jus wondering if there was anyway of installing them to the stock radio dont really want to change it.....

you can find out which wires are for what speakers that connect into the back of the radio, stip the insulation and solder onto those and protect with heat shrink...but you may need (as you may already know) to add an amp #(to increase signal for bass) and for them both to get their seperate power from the battery and ground....

amps are already built into both speakers. i heard of a high to low box was wondering if i could wire that into the output of the radio?? (not questioning your method just before i solder ca it be avoided if you know what mean and chhers for the reply well appreciated)

by high to low boxes, i'm thinking of something that filters and only allows low freq through only....but tbh if the subs already have amps fitted you will not need this as they will have it built in....saves you a few quid.

there are loads of methods to do this your best bet is to figure out what your competant at and what method you want to use. my person opinion i would change to a better headunit, improves compatablity and sound quality. thus no real bother getting things wired up such as amps and subs etc, plug and play and all that.
