Default Sat Nav update

Hi all,

I have a 2003 307cc which still has the original Sat Nav CD from 2003.

I need to update it and not really sure where to get the updated CD.

The CD I have says:

Navteq Great Britain/Ireland - 2004/2005 - part number: T1000-8274

the unit is Soft. Version - Unit: 5.41,

please can someone point me in the right direction.

I did download both the Navteq RT3 and Navteq RT4 CD's from a torrent site but don't really know what i'm doing.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Tom Tom One XL with the 2010 maps so not going to spend £100 on this.

If you have to leave the Sat Nav disc in for it to work, it's probably an RT3. If you can leave the Sat Nav disc out and the Sat Nav still works, it's probably an RT4.

If it's an RT4, it will heave a Hard Drive, (Juke Box), you can copy Cds and MP3s to.

My guess is it's an RT3, or you would almost certainly have mentioned the Hard Drive.

If you are brave enough to slide the unit out, the RT3 is called RT3 and the RT4 is called RT3-ev.

Hope this helps.
