RD4 won't play CD's

Just bought a second hand 207, just realised the cd player won't work, it feeds the cd in ok then makes humming sound for few seconds then ejects it again.

Any ideas how to fix it?

Have had a few of these. Only cure is replacement unless you know someone who knows how to fix them.
