Hi all
![]() I'm new here and new to Peugeot. I bought a 206 a few weeks back, it runs great, am liking it so far but the CD player has a tendancy to skip, jump and stop playing music until I turn it off and on again. I've ruled out the CDs themselves - I've tried many, all scratch free and even a freshly burned one and they work fine in my other players. Its not due to vibration as it does it when I'm stationary and the engine off. I've had the unit out and apart (as much as you can) this morning. It looks brand new inside it all - no dirt or grime clogging up the mechanisms or anything obviously wrong and all the connections are fine. The car is 9 years old. I don't know what the life expectancy is on these CD players is, I'd have thought longer than 9 years though. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what may be wrong? Thanks

Never mind. I appear to have fixed it.
