Default Problem with "IPhone car kit" for 308SW (2011)

Hey

I just had an original iPod Connection Kit mounted in my Peugeot 308SW. It sort of works but not very well. When my IPhone 3GS / IPod (tried both) is connected it just shows track 1-99 on "CD6"?? No playlists, song names etc. is shown - just anonymous tracks. What is even worse is that when reaching track 99 it just starts over again with track 1 - but with now songs (guess it is 100-199).

Am I missing something or is the IPOD car kit malfunctioning?

Regards
Anders J

Try this link >>> Peugeot MP3 - USB Box Connection - 9702EZ-2850

Click on Related Documents, and it will give you instructions on how it should work.

Default It works - almost

Hey

Thanks alot for the reference! When holding down TA/PTY and selecting "Documents" it now shows all the albums etc. Great!

The only problem now is that the power is switched of every time i press a button on the radio. The results in continuously "beeping" from my IPhone since it starts the recharging every time?

Is the Radio mounted incorrectly or is this expected behavior?

Best regards
Anders

Never tried it with an iPhone, but whenever mine was plugged in, the red power light was on continuously, so would have thought it would have power whenever the ignition was on.

The software in the phone is ahead of the software of the car.
The bluetooth ecu most liklely take a software update from the server in France.

How is the Blutooth ECU related to a cabled connection?

I had my car to the local Peugeot dealer today (who installed it earlier). They agreed that the turn-on/turn-off behavior seemed wrong though they were not sure whether it was by-design (which seem quite fetched). They would contact Peugeot in France to get a clear answer.

The problem is actually worse than i expected. Every time a new song is played it looses power for a few seconds and then starts recharging again - i don't even have to touched any buttons
