Peugeot 207 RD4 with connects2

I have a 2008 207 and am considering a Connects2 iPod adaptor to plug in to the CD changer port. Peogot dealer said 'This could ruin the car' any help or advice appreciated

well if they are so smart, ask them what they recommend, and how much it costs, then find that same thing 10x cheaper on ebay
