p307 replace clarion and speakers

Hi all,

I own p307 (2004 model) with built in Clarion CD player.
Would like to replace the existing Clarion with a CD player that has MP3 and USB support.

Is there any way that I could keep functions of commands on the steering wheel and display? Are there any CD/MP3/USB players that are "compatible"?

Also, would like to change the speakers (not satisfied with sound at all), so any suggestions on that?

i changed my clarion unit for a sony mex bt2600 which has bluetooth, aux and mp3 and wma input (just before the usb models) i had to buy 2 bits of kit to get the radio stalk to work.

pc99-x44 - main unit to control stalk
pc99-son(manufacturer) - adaptor for the head unit to go into above

works a treat, the only thing that you end up losing is the center display info...it will still keep time, date and trip computer stuff.

there is a thread regarding speaker sizes somewhere...when i find it ill post
