No Clock Display

Hi there im new to pug lol so needing some help pls i have just bought my g/f a pug 206 t reg as she has jst passed her test, ive went to put a head unit init for her and she now doesnt have the clock/temp display behind hazzard button, i took it bk out and took the stereo to professional audio fitters who tell me that when u remove the original stereo and put new unit in the clock will never work again but my freind has 206 with sony xplode system and his works, i know theres a few other cables with plugs in there could any them be it ? any help would be greatfully appreciated thanks.

the clock should work, so should the temp. but the radio station display wont... the cables available are to get the radio stalk on your steering wheel working. they are called pc99-x44 and pc99-manufacturers name.
