NG4 3G Sat Nav - IPOD Connectivity

I am horrified now to find out after 4 weeks of owning my brand new RCZ (which I'm really pleased with) to find out that my IPOD is not compatiblle with my system !!!!!

I have had all the extras put on my car and for my comfort etc wanted the best Sat Nav system, I was assured that the SAT Nav system was fully compatible with an IPOD and infact the book says it is - BUT NO it isn't.

I can not believe this is the case 'Apple Ipod must be the most common MP3 around so why don't this work. I have been told to plug it in via the external ports ! Why should i I spend all this money to have loads of cables around in my glove box ( I won't be able to reach it ??)

I'm disgusted by it !!! When Peugoet kindly let me borrow an RCZ without the Sat Nav my Ipod synced no problems, and I presumed that this would be the same!!! - Please someone tell me that Peugoet have got it all wrong and it does infact work - PJ -
