installation guide for connects 2 device in RD4 307??

Hi,

i received my connects 2 device today, but i cant work out how to install it and the instructions are terrible, just very bad diagrams with no text!

can someone explain simply what i must do.....i have removed the head unit and the mutli changer, i have taken out the main socket in the head unit and put in the connects 2 device in between......but there are still some random leads which i dont know which goes where and a small black box with 12 point pin holes on either side and i dont know what to do with it....

help please...
