Hi all,
Has anyone managed to get the HTC Desire HD to work fully with their Bluetooth? If so could you give me some tips? |

I have the desire. Not HD but the Bluetooth will be the same.
yeah you need to go into settings - wireless & networks - Bluetooth Then then Bluetooth on then put discovery on too. If you want to connect to car, have the car search for bluetooth devices, and search for devices with your phone. they pair like normal Bluetooth devices. I literally did this a couple of days ago on the Megane hire car I have. It comes up on the phone as a bluetooth headset

With Bluetooth enabled, connect to the vehicle. Then in your Bluetooth options in your phone, press and hold the vehicles name and then tap "options"
You can then choose to send audio through the vehicle etc.

What button are you pressing to answer your calls because sometimes if you answer via the phone button and not the b/t kit then it auto routes it via the phone and not the car kit.
what b/t kit is it by the way ? |

Right, I've got my multimedia playing through the car now, I found the source button... DUH! lol
In terms of phone calls, I tried to make a call using the handset when I first got the car and it didn't go through the car in anyway at all. I also received a call last night and it didn't ring via the car or give me the option to answer via the car on the display screen. It's the factory fit Bluetooth that all the Envy range come with that I'm using. Thanks. |

Hi all,
Sort of on topic. I've recently bought a 207 and tried to connect my HTC Desire through the bluetooth connection. When asked for a 4 digit code I've input 1234 as instructed in the car's handbook but it won't connect. It looks like the previous owner of the car has changed the code or else I'm doing something wrong. Any tips on either what I'm doing wrong or if the previous owner has changed the code on how to reset it? Cheers, |
