Default Fitting 6x9's in a 2003 307

Hi people,

My cousin has given my two 6x9 rear speakers for my 307, i've never installed speakers or messed about before, my cousin tells me on his car (not a peugeot) it had some speaker connections already running into the boot that he just needed to connect them too, is this true for the 307? - If so where would I find them, i've just been out with a torch and had a look but nothing sticks out - there is a plastic piece quite a bit above either wheel arch which does contain the wires for the lights and internal boot light so I'm wondering if they are hidden in there? It's all carpeted so there wasn't many places to look.
I'm not going to cut them into my parcel shelf or anything but have them neatly in the boot somewhere just as a bit of extra sound as it only has two front speakers.

thanks!

i installed 2 6x9 speakers in my old peugeot 307. no wires existed. i put an amp in aswell, so had to run power from engine fusebox to boot down one side, with on/off signal cable. then the speaker/data cable down the other. was more than a pain in the arse.

its not so bad, just got to know what you are doing. you could see if they fit in your door, upgrade your current stocks, more than likely get better quality sound.

Yeah it would certainly be better sounding in the front, i'll see if they will fit in there, my mates mate is a mechanic so i've asked him to see what he'd charge, just got rid of our 206 & that had speakers in all four doors but the 307 just has them in the front doors - although i'd put that down to being more of a family car

I must watch that video at least every other day.

Still cant believe how 'freely' the revs pick up.

Makes my 407 (136) look like a slug

Top tune to go with it also.
