Can you change a Peugeot 206 original CD Player?

yeah you can, you will lose the track info/radio station on your center display but will keep the date, time, temp, trip info.

you will need to buy:

pc99-x44 and pc99-ken to keep the steering controls.

cost about £30 for both...you can find good deals on google. just type pc99-x44 and you will get decent results

is this vary for different brands? like do i need different ones for Pioneer?

pc99-x44 is what you need for 90% of peugeots. its pc99-son or pc99-ken (the last three change) varies on the manufacturer. some are cross compatable.

just another thing,what sort of stereo's will match with pc99's?

sorry for stupid question, just wondering if old deck normal mp3 players like sony etc will work with pc99s

aslong as the stereo/headunit is remote comander/steering control compatable they will work with all pc99's, for every car.

if your worried about buying the adaptor and not working...if you can post up (if you havnt already) the model and/or a picture of the rear of the device and ill be more than happy to take a look and give you the heads up on it.

John, you just exactly pointed me to the thing i was just thinking. coz i remember reading about some head units are com compatable.

now i know whats going on.
