RD4s do have AUX connection
Just need to buy the cable, plug in the back, and have it activated in Planet

Wondered about that but couldn't understand why it has to be activated by planet when my old connects2 unit didn't? I assume it works in the same way, you control the folder selection through the cd buttons and the aux cable plugs into the vacant cd changer port?

Nope, not the CD changer port, the AUX ports next to it, below the power/speaker outputs. You would use the CD changer port if connecting a USB box to it.
To have control through the head unit & steering wheel, you would need a USB box (pricey!) but if you connect through the AUX it is the same as plugging headphones into your MP3 player/phone. Will post a pic of the connections when I can find it

Anschluss-Belegung des Peugeot/Blaupunkt Radios RD4 - its foreign, but you get the jist - part A is power & speakers, part B the aux ports, and part C the CD changer.
I trust the RD4 for the 307 is the same as the RD4 in the 407.... otherwise, it could all be b******s what I've just told you

What annoys the sh*t out of me about peugeot is why they don't just enable the function to begin with so that you can add it later, but nooooooo, they want you to go cap in hand and hand on wallet to them to get it enabled.
I have just seen this on eBay... I have sent them a message asking if it allows track lists on the MFD and stalk control. I also like this unit, in halfords for £150... Last edited by steve m; 02-03-2012 at 05:30 PM. |

When the hell are we going to be able to put a SIM card in a head unit and get internet radio?
Forget DAB, that's what I'm waiting for.

BTW: you do not get track info on the MFD with the interface kit I linked to above, you can work it off your steering wheel control though. Last edited by steve m; 02-04-2012 at 05:06 PM. Reason: extra info |

yeah you can, but it will disconnect all the time as you move between the antennas for the mobile network....if you move 3 antennas on 1 mast in a certain time limit, it bans you from the network for a set amount of time...hence the SOS signal when in the car.
i normally put the songs/albums i want to listen to and bluetooth it to my headunit. there are plenty of cables out there that can give your headunit the stalk capabilities, aslong as the headunit is remote commander capable.
