I have been through most of the threads but am none the wiser...
I have a 2004 307. I have pulled out the radio and CD changer and have installed a JVC KD-r601 unit. I also bought a universal cubby for underneath. The problem is, the cubby frankly looks a bit s*** and the HU does not seem to stay in place. It slides in and out of the dash easily, moves when I unplug USB devices from it and does not seem to sit at the proper angle in the dash. Any advice/links to kits etc to resolve these annoyances?? cheers |

The moving of the head unit is likely to be linked to it not being securely fixed into its mounting plate (the one that comes in the box). Make sure this plate is securely fitted to the 'gap' with the small tabs pressed out to hold in place, and then push the head unit into place. If the plate is in tight, when the head unit clicks into it, this will be secure too

This is what I'm referring to >>>
I'm not 100% familiar with how the head unit fits into the 307, but in my 306, you needed one of the above fitted first, then the head unit pushes in and clips into place in this mount. They used to sell them in Halfords, but can't see them on the website

Can anyone get me the part number for the genuine Pug cubby? It doesn't show on Servicebox for my chassis number as my car has the cd changer in that slot.
I've bought one of those universal ones from Ebay and they look pretty cheap. There's one in a scrappy near me but its scratched and full of mould.

Tried looking on Servicebox without putting in a VIN no. and still can't find reference to one.... even looked under accessories, and this only lists a storage device for 4 CDs in its place. Do they make one? or did they all come with CD changers?
