5008 - Iphone 4 problem:

Hi All, can anyone help!? I have a peugeot 5008 which has the peugeot conect usb for aux devices, for some reason it will not allow me to play my iphone 4 ipod or ipod touch thought thr usb cable, it just won't find it. I can usd the aux cable, but then have to change tracks ect from the iphone/ipod touch itself and not the vehciles controls. i am missing something? thanks in advance for any assistance.

The USB cable when plugged into an ipod/iphone doesn't see all the music arranged in nice neat folders like a USB stick would. The iphone holds the music in an encrypted format and the 5008 would need to be "iPod" compatible via USB for this to work. My best advise is to buy a 16 or 32 gb USB stick for the car for stuff all. Your steering wheel controls will work, and it can be left in. Want more music than that? Buy 2 ;-)
