307 radio fitment?

Purchased a 307 radio/cd player off the site.
Plugged it in, all works but has a loud bleep auditable though the speakers.
Is this because it needs coded to car? How to?

Yes ,with someone who has Peugeot Planet or a dealer , ask price first, should not be more than £15 through dealer.

Big thanks to John for the radio and CMAX for sorting the coding etc, now all up & working, just on the look out for the trip com
