More Power out of a 110?

Hi guys

I'm new to Peugeots (have always been a Ford man).

I've got a 110BHP 2.0HDi 807... Just wondering what the difference is between the 110BHP, the 120BHP and the 136BHP??? Is it just the ECU mapping or are there some mechanical differences too? If so, is it easy to change some of the parts in my 110 to be the same as parts found in the 120/136 to give more power?

Also, other than chipping, exhaust and air intake, what else can be done to get more power and/or better fuel economy? Is EGR blocking common practise with 807 owners?

I'm not very impressed with the fuel economy, I'm strugglind to get 40mpg on the motorway and about 28mpg around town, is this normal? Admittedly with my Mondeo I'm used to getting 55mpg on the motorway and 40+mpg around town, although I wasn't expecting exactly the same return with the 807 but was shocked at how poor it is.

Big mechanical differences between all engine variants, most notably twin cams and 16 valves on the 136.

The original engine architecture is best part of 20 years old on some versions, and with unladen weight and aerodynamics more akin to a SWB transit its unrealistic to expect it to return the economy of a saloon. You need a more modern MPV if you want better consumption, such as the 5008.

EGR removal is a common mod, especially on the older engine variants.
