Kontrolleuchte Motorselbstdiagnose

I have a problem with my car which is a lancia Z 2.0 ltd but has a peugeot 806 engine. There is a check light that keeps appearing on the dash board. when ever this check light appears the engine sound rises and when the car is in motion, the car speeds abnormally even when your feet is on the brakes and a half crutch. Could you please help.

can we have more info on the vehicle. such as fuel, mileage, engine code. this is so we can narrow it down for you.

The specification as requested by you is as follows: -

Vehicle type: Lancia Zeta Wagon
Fuel: Diesel
Mileage: 270631
Engine Code:
Chassis No.: ZLA22000012378373
Year of Manufacture: 1998

Unfortunately I am not too sure about the engine code but however, I hope the information provided can guide you to help me cos I am getting frustrated with this problem. Thanks in advance.
