Hi, Mine is 2000model HDi 806 diesel. My heater is getting hot after very long time only. It gets heat but need atleast 10-15 minutes. Also, blowing is not enough. It makes big blowing noice but less air flow. Any help?

First thing = change the thermostat.
Second thing = change any filters Third thing = when you adjust the direction of the heater (e.g. to the windscreen or to your feet) does the air actually come out of the correct holes? |

Thanks For Ur Reply..
Could You Be More Specific On Thermostat And Filters...? I Think Air Flow Is Not Up To The Standard. I Mean When It Is On Foot, Blow Is Not Enough Or If It Is On Face A Little Bit Only Coming Thru, But Makes Huge Noice... Thanks.. |

Don't think they have a pollen filter, could be wrong. Would need last eight numbers of chassis to find out.

![]() When it fails, the thermostat allows cold water to flow to the radiator, so the whole engine takes a very long time to heat up. (I thought that you might have a pollen filter. If this is badly blocked, it will slow the flow of air to the inside of the car. However, it seems you may not have one..., so don't worry )Just a thought: The loud noise may be caused by a heater air-piping duct that has fallen off.
