807 2.0hdi violent holding back and jumping and happens every 370 miles approx

Hi cannot find the source of this problem hoping someone my have an idea on here.
I had what I thought was an intermitent fault its been happening for around a year now the car under light throttle low revs violently holds back and then jumps into life if i keep the revs high you can drive through it on the motorway but on normal roads juction lights etc you have to rev the nuts of it to pull away.
After a while of this happening ( I thought) randomly. I decided to zero the the miles when it stated again not sure why maybe desperation I think. Anyway through this move I discoverd that every 368miles on the button it starts again and I have now discovered that it last for 10 miles then stops. Its really baffling so one seems to have an idea regarding the cause. Cant go to the local pug dealer as I took it to them for this fault in the begining they drove the car to check parameters and said I needed two sensors a speed sensor and one on the dpf cost £800. I thought they had sorted it drove away seemed fine for a couple of weeks (obviously not hit the magic 368 miles)started again went to see them they were very unhelpfulland I lost my rag so didnt go to well cant really go there!
any ideas would be greatfully recieved

Sounds like a regen/particle filter problem, plenty on here about that , first thing you need is a diagnostics done

Hi thank you for your reply . That was the problem when I went back to peugeot dealer they had done and charged me for 3 diag and parameter checks £90 a pop with no fault codes or warning lights that related to this problem in desperation called out the rac no clues went to a local pug specialist they found nothing relevent and cleared the fault codes. feeling very fed up went back to peugeot dealerthat very same day surprise surprise they need to do a diag another £90 to which I told them they had been cleared of that morning they did there diag rang me up and said there we no fault codes at all shocker and i would have to drive around until check engine light or a code had registered so basicly they could'nt repair the car until the car told them what was wrong.
I think regen problem but with it being so precise do you think it's a software rather than mechanical?

Would be cheaper to go to a good Remapper and remove all traces of DPF from your car

I have considered that but dont know enough about it just worried if you remove the dpf would it cause it not to clean the system causing it to clog fully.Sorry if im sounding a bit thick dont understand dpf fully but would love to get rid of it do you know anyone who has had done? did it work etc
