I'm thinking of fitting Xenon Conversion Kit for my Peugeot 607 and I have few questions regarding this.
I'm a bit confused about the type of the bulbs I should be looking for as all the dedicated kits for 607 I've found on ebay include H1 bulbs while my 607 has H7 bulbs for main dipped beam. I've found a universal and very cheap kit on ebay, Item number: 120325524411 What do you think about it? Is it worth time and money? If not, what kit would you recommend for my 607? Has anyone any experience with those Xenon Conversion Kits? Any information greatly appreciated!

hi piotrpakos, you need a H7 conversion kit, dont get the H1 and try to install with a adaptor..
personally my experience was good.. My first 607 was a Y plate with 16 alloys (the ones that cant be balanced by anyone other than some specialists). It came with normal halogen bulbs and the xenon conversion kit really looked cool.. only thing you need and MUST make sure is the relays, the ignitors reverse the current in the ballasts which could damage the electric of the car.. few things you MUST follow, change the fuse as per the instructions on the conversion kit. make sure each side is fitted with a relay to avoid back current.. My 54 plate has got the D2R factory fitted and are a dream although the bulb costs me £50 each, it also looks a dream.. good luck, and let me know if you need any further info..

What do you think about those cheap conversion kits from China, are they any good? Have you got any experience with any of those? Will I get the relays with the kit or do I need to get them separately?

Do you know where can I get the relays from? How do they look? How do I get them fitted?

you need one for each side... easy to install.. it needs to go before the plug.. not that hard.. you need to trace the wire back... best place is where the fuse box is...
the reason why relays are necessary is because they stop the current to go back into the cars system from the ballast which could damage the ECU and other components. as I said before, you can install them without it, but if you are planning to keep the car in longer term, install the relays for peace of mind.. personally I would install them..
